Travel and Transfers
Hotel Lapad has private parking place, daily ticket is 10 euro.
If you are traveling by car and arriving from the direction of Split, after crossing the Dubrovnik Bridge and arriving in the port of Gruz you will need to follow the signs to "Hotel Lapad."
There is currently construction outside the hotel which is causing diversions but this is due to be completed by November 2023. Even allowing for any delay in the project, all roads should be opened well in advance of August. Updated information on the works is available on the Hotel Lapad's website.

There is a bus stop close to the hotel and the number 6 bus runs into the old town.
From London airports, the main airlines that fly direct to Dubrovnik are BA, Whizz Air, Jet 2, Croatia Airlines, and Easyjet.
There are also direct flights from Manchester and Edinburgh; and non-direct options from Newcastle, Birmingham, Teeside, Leeds Bradford, and Canadian airports.

Hotel Lapad provides transfers. Please let us have your travel plans, once confirmed and we can co-ordinate transfers if you are happy to share with other guests who are arriving / departing at a similar time. The hotel prices are:

Alternatively there is a shuttle bus from the airport to the main bus station in the port. The bus stop is located in front of the airport building. The ride will last approximately 40 minutes. From the port of Gruz you will need to take a taxi to Hotel Lapad. The taxi ride only lasts for around 5 minutes.

Hotel Recommendations
We would prefer our guests to stay locally to Dubrovnik with easy access to Port Gruz in the day of the wedding. The boat will leave at a specific time which will be announced next year and proximity will be of essence to ensure you arrive on time so the boat doesn't leave without you. We will organise a return coach from the Hotel Lapad to Port Gruz for those staying at Hotel Lapad.
Hotel Lapad have offered us a group rate for room bookings with one third payable on month before arrival and the remainder payable upon arrival in Croatia.
There is a seven day cancellation policy. The prices are as follows:
• Double / twin room with balcony and garden view: €220 per room per night (€210 per night sole occupancy)
• Double /twin room with balcony and seaview: €230 per room per night (€220 per night sole occupancy)
• Extra bed supplement: €60 per night
All rates include breakfast and should be booked direct with the hotel – contact details / reference to follow.
There is an additional tax payable locally of €2.65 per person, per night.

Gifts
We appreciate having you with us to celebrate our special day in Croatia and we are aware that coming to the wedding involves the cost of paying for flights and accommodation.
We do not expect any gifts from you as the best gift is that you're with us to celebrate our wedding, together. If you would like to give us a gift, at the ripe old age of 36 (!!!!!) we have all we need and our preference would be a gift of money towards our Honeymoon and two of our chosen charities which are NSPCC and The Brain Tumour Charity.
